I became a member of the Oak Dale Church of the Brethren at the age of twelve and remained committed to the COB until 2020 when I transferred my membership to the Covenant Brethren Church. Throughout the years, I’ve been actively involved in various capacities within the local church community, including roles as a trustee, church board chair, Sunday School teacher/superintendent, ministry commission chair and building manager. My educational background includes a master’s degree in Administration from Marshall University, supplemented by extensive coursework in biblical studies, personal and social skills trainings, as well as conflict resolution.

My journey with my wife Diana spans thirty-seven years, and together we have been blessed with a son, two daughters, and four grandchildren.

During my tenure with the COB, I held significant leadership positions such as Chair of the West Marva District Board for four terms, standing committee delegate for two terms, and interim District Executive for two years. Additionally, I was actively engaged in various district committees.

Presently, as a member of a CBC church, I hold the esteemed position of Chair of the National Executive Board. Furthermore, I serve as a Regional Elder and have served as Board Chair for the Central Allegheny Region. It’s been a profound privilege to contribute to the development of CBC, particularly during its formative years as a denomination.
