Dear Friends in Christ,
Warm Christian greetings to all those who are supportive of the Central Allegheny Region of the Covenant Brethren Church. May the glad tidings and peace of Jesus be your continual blessing.
We are excited to announce that we have acquired insurance for the region and are in the process of obtaining our 501(c)(3) status. We are not yet at the point of coming up with a solid budget, but our financial needs are growing. To this end, we are committed to keeping folks informed of our monetary needs so that we can meet our obligations promptly. Our current needs include: continuing to fund the administrative assistant position, office operations, supporting mission and outreach, and the humanitarian relief work of our region. We are encouraging churches and individuals interested in supporting the region to send in a donation as led by the Holy Spirit.
All checks should be made out to the Central Allegheny Region. If you want to designate funds to a particular area or project in the region such as: Mission and Outreach, Humanitarian Relief, Samaritan’s Purse projects, etc., please make a note on the memo line of your check. All donations received by the Central Allegheny Region that have no designation will go into the general operations fund with 5% going into Mission/Outreach and 5% to Humanitarian Relief.
